Together, we give back.

We raise money, donate time, and put our skills to work for charities and community projects across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and beyond.

Who we are

The way we give back to the place we call home.

The Goodridge Foundation is the charitable and community arm of Goodridge Electrical Contractors Ltd, a family run engineering and electrical business based in Cradley, on the border between Hereford and Worcester. As the business grows, giving back to the community around us matters more than ever, and the Foundation is how we make that happen.

We are not a registered charity, and that is by design. It keeps us light on our feet and means every pound we raise goes straight out to charities and community causes, with nothing taken out along the way.

100%

of the funds we raise are passed directly to external charities and community causes.

How we help

Three ways we make a difference.

Giving back is not only about money. We use everything we have, our events, our donations, and our hands-on skills, to help where it counts.

Raise

We run events and fundraisers

Raffles, food drives and charity days, from a Worcester Warriors raffle to golf days for the air ambulance. We rally our team, our customers and our community to raise money for good causes.

Give

We donate directly

From hospital wards to food banks, we give straight to the charities and community projects across our region that are doing the real work on the ground.

Build

We put our skills to work

We do more than write cheques. Our team gives its time and trade to community projects, like fitting sensory lighting in a hospital children's ward.

Helping the next generation into the trade.

We want more people to find a future in our industry, whatever their age, gender or background. Alongside our school talks and apprenticeships, we have put together a free apprenticeship guide that explains what the work involves, where it can lead, and how to apply, with a CV template to get you started.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Are you a registered charity?
No, and that is deliberate. We are the charitable and community arm of Goodridge Electrical Contractors Ltd, not a registered charity. It keeps us simple and means every pound we raise goes straight to external charities and community causes, with nothing taken out.
Where does the money go?
Straight to external charities and community projects, like the hospital wards, food banks and local causes in our work. We do not keep a cut.
Which areas do you cover?
From our base in Cradley, we cover Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the wider area, with a little further afield where we can lend a hand.
How can I get a cause considered?
Get in touch and tell us about it. We are always glad to hear about local charities and projects that could use support, and you can put one forward using the details below.
Can my business or group work with you?
Yes. We team up with businesses and community groups on fundraisers and projects. If you have an idea, we would love to hear it.
How can I support you right now?
Follow us on social for what is on, join or run a fundraiser, or donate directly. We run raffles, events and seasonal fundraisers through the year, including Christmas cards, so there is usually something to get behind.
